New Heights Academy (NHA) was founded to provide an exceptional education for all its students at a reasonable cost to parents. Understanding that the costs associated with funding a private school education can be challenging, the school offers a need-based financial assistance option, enabling some children an opportunity to benefit from the academic programs found at NHA that might not otherwise be possible due to financial resource constraints. We believe that students should be admitted based on their ability to thrive, not their ability to afford the cost of an NHA education.

To be considered for financial assistance for the upcoming school year, applicants must first be accepted at NHA and should have received their acceptance letters. Then, applicants may apply via GaSSO's website at https://www.georgiasso.com/parents and click on Scholarship (Step 4) beginning on or after May 1st. No applications will be accepted after May 31st for currently enrolled, and June 30th for new admissions. This will give NHA administration notice that you are interested in applying for a GaSSO scholarship. Once NHA receives notice, the applicant will be provided an NHA financial assistance application which will be emailed via DocuSign and must be completed by the application deadline date. NHA will require a copy of the most recent tax return (including all schedules and all other supporting documentation), as well as the most recent copy of W-2 forms for both primary parent/guardian and spouse. In the case of divorce, parents who share custody must both supply information to NHA and may do so in separate applications to NHA.
If you have questions or concerns about the NHA application process, you may reach out to Mr. Louis Gesualdi, CFO at Louis@NewHeightsAcademyGA.org.
The 2024-2025 school year NHA financial assistance applications are available starting May 1, 2024.

The NHA Financial Assistance Committee evaluates each family’s application and determines an award. This CONFIDENTIAL process takes into account the results of the NHA financial aid application and corresponding tax documentation. The NHA Financial Assistance Committee will determine the eligibility of need and the amount of the award based on the amount of available funds, the number of applicants requesting assistance, and the need demonstrated by the applicant’s family.
Students in grades 1st through 12th are eligible for consideration of financial assistance.
Financial assistance recipients must re-apply and meet all assistance eligibility requirements for financial assistance each year. The completion of the financial assistance application is not a binding agreement that assistance is available or will be granted in future years.
NHA administration will distribute and process all financial assistance materials. Letters of notification with financial assistance award or denial information will be sent via email to applicant families upon decision of the award in July 2024.
