To benefit from New Heights Academy, students need to be able to work in small groups, at least a portion of the day. We look at the functional developmental levels of each child rather than their diagnosis; targeting developmental challenges with developmental solutions. Students are assessed to identify areas of strength and areas of concern by teachers. An inter-disciplinary comprehensive program is developed based on each student’s individual profile.
For the safety, privacy, and uninterrupted learning of our students, New Heights Academy does not offer school tours during academic hours or while students are present on campus. We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain a safe and focused learning environment for all of our students.
School tours are offered prior to the start of open enrollment. Once open enrollment begins, tours are not conducted while students are present on campus.
After an application has been submitted, our admissions team will review the required documentation and schedule an assessment date for your student as part of the admissions process.
NHA reviews each application and, if appropriate, will set up two separate visits with the child. NHA requires these visits with the student before any admission decisions can be made.
NHA will notify parent by phone or in writing when a decision has been reached. Upon Acceptance, an enrollment contract will be issued.
